OLL.TV SmartTV App
OLL.TV is one of Ukraine's two biggest streaming services, available on all platforms: SmartTV, mobile devices (both iOS and Android), and web, allowing users to have a seamless experience across them.
Designing the SmartTV version was especially challenging due to its nature: a high-demand platform that must hold live TV, football, and a growing VOD catalog in one interface — usable with nothing but a crosspad ✜.
Home — one hero per title, with things worth finishing a single crosspad press below.
Playback screen — controls and channel switcher stay reachable with a single crosspad press.
Channel list — grouped by category, accessible without leaving the video.
Series player — episodes open over the running video, with season tabs and watched progress on every card.
VOD item page that adapts to whatever quality of artwork the rights holder sends.
Proper key art — it runs full-bleed behind the title and the actions.
OLL.TV has an exclusive license for broadcasting football. Everybody knew: matches happen — only OLL.TV shows them.
Live match — score, goal pop-ups and a jump to highlights or another game share one bar over the stream.
Pre-recorded football highlights are available right after real football events.
Squad sheet over the live match — formations, goals, cards and substitutions for both sides at once.
My design department was responsible for:
- Product design throughout all platforms SmartTV, mobile devices iOS & Android, web, VR goggles, Sony PlayStation console
- All graphic stuff preparation and adaptation Movie posters, banners, covers, logos, marketing & SMM materials
- Printing design and preparation Flyers, boxes, billboards, packages, cards, manuals
The project survived a complete board change halfway through. My team kept it from falling apart when the new members asked for a total redesign in their way.
